It drives action through four working groups: 1) the Inclusive Tech Talent Pipeline Workgroup, building partnerships to connect non-traditional talent pools to enter the tech space; 2) the Emerging Talent Workgroup, creating opportunities for entry-level technology jobs, internships, and apprenticeships; 3) the Tech Skills Gap Workgroup, reskilling and up-skilling employees; 4) the Small Business Capacity Building Workgroup, creating tech talent pathways for micro- and small businesses. A micro-internship is a short-term, paid professional project that typically lasts between 10 to 40 hours. These tasks are similar to those assigned to interns or new hires and can be in any industry or department, such as sales, marketing, HR, or finance. Micro-internships are comprehensive, often remote, and available year-round, offering businesses flexibility and quick solutions for specific needs.
